We at BDI India and our affiliated companies worldwide are committed to respecting your online privacy and recognize your need for appropriate protection and management of any particulars that you share with us to distinguish yourself from the other users (Distinct information). BDI has established this Online Privacy Policy so that you can understand the care with which we intend to treat your distinct Information.

Distinct Information means any information that may be used to identify an individual, including, but not limited to, a first and last name, business address, an e-mail address or any other contact information. In general, you can visit BDI's web pages without telling us who you are or revealing any Personal Information about yourself although you will have to provide certain basic details if you wish to register and transact.

If you choose to register and provide us with your distinct Information on the web, we will transfer and use that Information, within BDI only. Distinct information will be used to provide our Internet visitors with appropriate product information and BDI news or events via the registered email address. BDI will not market, sell or license our registered visitor’s information to parties or individuals outside of BDI.

However, when BDI is required by any law, regulation, order of any judicial or government authority or legal process to disclose any details related to you or the purchases made by you, you give unconditional consent to share all such details with the concerned authority without any prior intimation to you.

BDI does not collect more information from the user than is necessary for BDI to provide user(s) with BDI’s services and to protect user(s) account.

Although legal requirements may vary from country to country, BDI intends to adhere to the principles set forth in this Online Privacy Policy. In other words, our goal is to provide protection for your distinct Information no matter where that distinct Information is collected, transferred or retained.

BDI takes every reasonable step to ensure that user’s distinct information is processed ‘as is’. You may access, correct, and update your contact information directly through the functionalities provided on the Platform or contact our customer care for any assistance.

You have an option to withdraw your consent that you have already provided at the time of registration, by writing to us at the contact information provided below. Please mention “for withdrawal of consent” in the subject line of your communication. BDI will verify such requests before acting upon your request. Please note, however, that the withdrawal of consent will not be retrospective and will be in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy, related terms of use, and the applicable laws. In the event you withdraw the consent given to us under this Privacy Policy, such withdrawal will lead to blocking of your account until you decide to provide the consent.


BDI retains your distinct information in accordance with the applicable laws, for a period no longer than is required for the purpose for which it was collected or as required under any applicable law. However, BDI may retain the data related to you if it believes it may be necessary to prevent fraud or future abuse, to enable BDI to exercise its legal rights and/or to defend against legal claims or if required by law or for any other legitimate purposes.


Any changes to this Privacy Policy will be communicated by us by posting an amended and restated Privacy Policy on the Platform. Once posted on the Platform the new Privacy Policy will be effective immediately. Your continued use of the Platform shall be deemed to be your acceptance of the Privacy Policy. The user agrees that any information BDI holds about the User (as described in this Privacy Policy and whether or not collected prior to or after the new Privacy Policy became effective) will be governed by the latest version of the Privacy Policy.
