Boston Gear’s 800 Series a focused selection of compact, heavy-duty, in-line helical gear drives that offer unmatched reliability and simplified maintenance. Thousands of performance-proven 800 Series models are hard at work in a variety of industries, including material handling and food and beverage.
Models are available in 4 basic sizes from 1/6 to 10 HP, with more than 40 different ratios, including 1.5:1 single reduction; 71:1 double-reduction; and 36:1-250:1 triple-reduction. A variety of input shaft configurations maximize flexibility.
All Boston Gear 800 Series models are dimensionally interchangeable with many U.S. and European in-line helical gear drives, making them uniquely practical for replacement applications.
Washdown-duty units, featuring stainless steel or white epoxy coatings, are ideal for most food and beverage applications. All Series 800 units come pre-filled with synthetic lubrication. Models can be double-sealed on both the input and output shafts for additional protection from fluid or debris contamination in harsh environments. Accessible oil seals simplify routine maintenance.
