Garlock KLOZURE® PUR-GARD™ Bearing Isolators
Garlock KLOZUREⓇ introduces the FDA Family of Dynamic Sealing Products that offer the ultimate rotating equipment sealing solutions for the food processing industry. The newest product, PUR-GARD™ (a bearing isolator), is manufactured with materials that are FDA compliant, metal detectable, and x-ray inspect able while utilizing a patented IP66 design. Typically found in rotating equipment that is exposed to heavy wash down in zone 1 & 2 applications, PUR-GARD™ has a patented labyrinth design that provides bearing protection even in the most challenging environments.
PUR-GARD™ eliminates metal-to-metal contact between the rotor and stator with its patented unitizing ring while the Cam-Lock design provides excellent bore retention and easy installation by hand without the need for an arbor press.
