ABB Ability™ Smart Sensor for Motors
ABB Ability™ Smart Sensor for motors is a remote conditioning solution that tracks the health and performance of motors operating in potentially explosive environments such as chemical plants, mines and mills. Motors installed in hazardous or remote locations may be difficult to inspect regularly and, therefore operated until failure.
Using the ABB Ability™ Smart sensor, equipment can be remotely monitored, anticipating any problems and scheduling preventative maintenance. It simply attaches to the frame of the motor; no wiring or machining is required.
