Formsprag Stieber CSK Series Clutches
Stieber CSK models feature a sprag-type clutch integrated into a 62 Series ball bearing (except sizes 8 and 40). These popular self-contained, compact units feature a wide bore range of 8 to 40 mm, a speed range from 0-15,000 RPM and an operating temperature range from 21 to 140°F (-6 to 60°C).
All models require no maintenance and are grease-lubricated for life. Formchrome® sprags provide extended wear life. The unique sprag design allows for a higher size-for-size torque rating. 27 different designs are offered with four different mounting styles. Units are available with additional lip seals for enhanced sealing and a keyway on the inner ring or the inner and outer ring for additional ease of installation.
