iwis Chain Condition Monitoring System
IWIS Chain Condition Monitoring system Smart (CCM-s) is the newest version of iwis’ first in class, chain elongation monitor. CCM-s measures the wear elongation of chains in operation and informs the operator when the chain in use is worn and needs to be replaced. Using a patented technology the CCM-s unit detects wear during operation within 0.01mm, and can communicate with a local computer or to the machine’s Programmable Logic control (PLC) via IO Link.
Iwis CCM-s has a new streamlined profile that will physically fit in most applications and is IP67 making it useful in most industries. CCM-s is available for standard carbon steel and stainless steel roller chains up to 4 inch pitch. New to the CCM-s is the ability measure temperature, shock load, as well single link elongation (SLE).
