Tsubaki Super Stainless™ Chains

The toughest, most demanding applications require the strongest and longest-lasting products possible. Super Stainless™ chain, a highly engineered solution for those applications, is what you need. Historically, design engineers had to decide between the strength of carbon steel or the corrosion resistance and extreme temperature properties of stainless steel. Tsubaki has recently designed and developed a single chain that achieves all of these critical properties. Super Stainless™ chain combines the corrosion resistance of Tsubaki AS series of chains, which is made of 600 series stainless steel, with the strength of standard carbon steel chains. It provides ultimate performance in corrosive environments that are exposed to high temperature, high speed, high loads, or food contact.

Super Stainless™ chains, which are 100% compliant with ASME B29.1 standard, are designed to deliver maximum strength in corrosive, high-temperature, or food-grade environments. Combined with the corrosion resistance and extreme temperature range of 600 series stainless steel, Super Stainless™ chains fully achieve the strength of the equivalently sized carbon steel chains, which can be up to 6 times stronger than the strength of ordinary stainless-steel chains. The use of Super Stainless™ chains can lead to reductions in cost and time as they can replace the equivalently sized carbon steel chain one for one and provide twice the wear life of ordinary stainless-steel chain.
